Bradfield civil parish is the largest in England and is approximately 7 miles north west of the City of Sheffield, nestling at the edge of the Pennines and the Peak District National Park.

The Parish Council covers 5 main areas; Stannington, Worrall, Loxley, Oughtibridge and Wharncliffe Side and numerous smaller ones, forming part of the City Council's Stannington Ward and Stocksbridge and Upper Don Ward.
